NOTICE is hereby given that Marianne Hamel, residential real estate broker, licence number H8775, whose establishment is located in Lachine has had conditions and restrictions imposed on her licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (2) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.

On March 3, 2022, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Ms. Hamel’s licence:

That it is appropriate to issue a licence to the applicant with the following conditions and restrictions:

a) For a period of 36 months following her licence issuance, prohibiting her from carrying on activities on her own account and from being designated as agency executive officer and/or from acting as one.

b) The period referred to in paragraph (a) shall end when the applicant accumulates 36 months as an active real estate broker’s licence holder.

c) The period referred to in paragraph (a) shall be suspended in the event the applicant suspends or revokes her real estate broker's licence.

d) For her first five transactions, the applicant must be under the direct supervision of her agency executive officer or an experienced real estate broker designated by her agency executive officer.

e) The applicant shall send a letter from her agency executive officer to the Organization’s Registry Service certifying that the condition or restriction referred to in paragraph (d) has been fulfilled within 30 days of the end of the condition or restriction.

If Ms. Marianne Hamel fails to comply with the conditions and restrictions imposed, her right to engage in professional real estate brokerage activities will be suspended until she does so.

This notice became enforceable on April 1, 2022.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences.
